Ezra Buzzington will be taking up a role in H2 (Halloween 2), which begins shooting in Georgia soon.   This news comes by way of Rob Zombie’s Myspace.  Buzzington had a role in the first Halloween that was ultimately cut. ‘

Unborn Box Office

Unborn scored a 3rd place finish at the box office and a strong opening that will probably lead to a near $40 million dollar finish which goes to show horror is still strong at the box office.  Up Next My Bloody Valentine 3d and of course, the return of Friday the 13th.

This movie has me ultra fired up.  While everybody else can not stand Tom Cruise these days i’m more of a fan now than ever.  Frankly, I think his movies over the last 10 years are much better than his previous ones.   Here’s a interesting interview about Cabin In The Woods.

Whedon, who wrote the upcoming horror movie CABIN IN THE WOODS with former Buffy writer Drew Goddard, met with Cruise as head of United Artists now that UA has taken over the MGM film as part of UA’s takeover of the lion studio, reports Sci Fi Wire.

“We met with him to hear his suggestions, sort of his take on it,” Whedon said in a Dec. 6 interview in Los Angeles. “But it was already sort of in the pipeline when they bought it; that was the idea. We’re in preproduction. We start shooting in March, so the train has left the station, and so we’re just sort of, well, we’re filling up the train.” The movie was shepherded by UA executive Mary Parent, who was an advocate of Whedon’s back when she was at Universal Pictures, which produced Whedon’s Serenity.

Goddard will helm the movie, which Whedon has previously said will be the horror movie to end all horror movies. Look for casting news soon.

Hopefully we’ll actually get a synopsis sometime soon, I’m dying to know what this one’s about.
